Schematic Technology was delighted to participate in the Nigeria Pharma Manufacturers’ Expo 2026, held on 28–29 September at Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
The exhibition was an excellent event for our Group, with Hall 2, Stand 239 remaining busy throughout the show. We welcomed pharmaceutical manufacturers, engineering specialists, project teams and industry professionals to discuss their applications, technical challenges, new projects and future manufacturing requirements.
The level of engagement was particularly encouraging, with many discussions extending beyond individual products into complete pharmaceutical process, reliability, containment and flow-control solutions.
A major strength of Schematic Technology is our ability to bring together specialist engineering capabilities from across our Group, providing customers with access to complementary technologies and engineering expertise from a single organisation.
At the Nigeria Pharma Manufacturers’ Expo, this included the capabilities of Schematic Engineering Industries, Reliability Engineering Industries and Stanvalves.
Schematic Engineering Industries provides advanced pharmaceutical equipment and engineered systems for aseptic processing, sterile manufacturing and high-containment applications. Our capabilities include aseptic isolators, sterility test isolators, containment isolators, RABS, glovebox systems, VHP / Vaporised Hydrogen Peroxide bio-decontamination systems, isolator half suits, material transfer systems, pass boxes, laminar airflow systems, downflow booths, dispensing booths and customised pharmaceutical process equipment.
Reliability Engineering Industries provides specialist mechanical sealing and rotating equipment reliability solutions for pumps, mixers, agitators, reactors and other critical process equipment. Technologies include single and double mechanical seals, cartridge seals, reactor and agitator seals, dry-running seals, hygienic sealing solutions and engineered seal support systems, helping pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturers improve equipment reliability, process integrity and operational performance.
Stanvalves complements these technologies with a growing portfolio of industrial and process flow-control solutions, including ball valves, butterfly valves, actuated valves and customised valve packages for pharmaceutical, chemical, utility and general process applications.
The exhibition provided an ideal opportunity to demonstrate how these capabilities can work together.
Modern pharmaceutical manufacturing requires much more than individual pieces of equipment. Successful facilities depend upon the integration of aseptic processing, contamination control, containment technology, process equipment, rotating equipment reliability, mechanical sealing, fluid handling and flow control.
By combining specialist companies and engineering disciplines within Schematic Technology, we can work with customers from the initial application discussion through design, engineering, manufacture, testing, qualification and project execution.
Our approach begins by understanding the customer's process and the challenges they are trying to overcome. From there, our engineering teams can develop solutions around the specific requirements of the application rather than simply offering standard catalogue products.
We were extremely encouraged by the number and quality of discussions held during the exhibition and by the interest shown in the capabilities of the Schematic Technology Group.
Nigeria and the wider African pharmaceutical sector represent an important and developing market, with increasing investment in local pharmaceutical manufacturing, sterile production, modern process technologies, contamination control and internationally compliant manufacturing facilities.
